Set to open its doors August 29th, 2011, Disney’s Aulani Resort in Ko Olina, Oahu, Hawaii promises to be a beautiful way to experience the fun, traditions and culture of the islands in a way only Disney Magic could produce.
In construction since November 2008, Disney’s Aulani Resort will include 359 traditional hotel rooms and 481 2-bedroom villas that are exclusive to Disney Vacation Club members. Upon completion, guests will be treated to sumptuous accommodations and beautiful views of the oceans, mountains and landscaping.
The resort is being constructed on 21 acres of property, and will be directly adjacent to a sparkling lagoon and beautiful white-sand beach. Additionally, the resort is located 17 miles from Honolulu International Airport and about 30 minutes from Waikiki.
When it finally opens its doors this Fall, guests will be treated to a magical experience unlike any other. The resort will feature many amenities, including an 18,000 square foot spa; a kids club; a wedding lawn; two restaurants; a conference center, and a gorgeous themed pool area that includes a traditional swimming pool, a wading pool, hot tubs, tube slides and a snorkel lagoon.
Aulani Resort will also be very family-friendly, and offer plenty of things to see and do for kids and adults alike. Aunty’s Beach Club is a club designed specifically for children and combine modern entertainment (video games and movies) with unique experiences such as traditional Hawaiian games and storytelling.
Furthermore, Disney’s Aulani Resort will offer one-of-a-kind excursions to their guests to help them discover the beauty of the islands in combination with famed Disney storytelling.
Once Disney’s Aulani Resort opens its doors, guests will be treated to a family-friendly atmosphere; deluxe accommodations; the magical storytelling Disney is famous for and a wonderful way to create memories that will last a lifetime.
