Once Disney’s Aulani Resort opens its doors to the public, guests can choose from a wide variety of room types to suit their needs.
Standard Resort Rooms
The regular resort rooms and suites feature clever Disney designs; special themes, and luxurious accommodations. Resort rooms feature 2 queen size beds or 1 king bed and a queen sleeper sofa and can sleep up to 4 guests. These rooms can offer a standard or ocean view, as well as partial ocean views, poolside garden views, and island garden views.
Parlor suites can sleep up to 5 guests, and includes a master bedroom with 1 king size bed; 1 queen sleeper sofa and a pull down bunk bed in the parlor; 1 full bath and 1 half-bath and flat panel TV’s with DVD player in the bedroom and parlor area.
While the accommodations alone are enough to please any guest, the true magic resides in the special details in every room. For example, guests will delight in finding the hidden Mickeys camouflaged in the wall coverings, or located in the pineapple-print Hawaiian quilts on each bed. The living room floor lamp features a silhouette of Minnie Mouse surfing a wave, and much of the furnishings are designed to replicate ancient Hawaiian artifacts such as fish hooks and outrigger canoe sails.
In fact, the wall mirrors in each resort room and suite were designed to appear as if they’re framed within two large, interlocking fishhooks!
Disney Vacation Club Villas
In addition to the regular resort rooms and suites, DVC members can take advantage of the Disney Vacation Club Villas which will make any guest feel at home every time they visit.
Deluxe Studio
Rooms include a deluxe studio, which can sleep up to 4 guests and includes a private porch or balcony, 1 queen size bed and a queen size sleeper sofa, 1 bathroom, and a wet bar that includes a mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave.
1-Bedroom Villa
The 1-bedroom villa can sleep up to 5 guests and features a master bedroom with a king size bed and bathroom complete with a whirlpool tub.
2-Bedroom Villa
The 2-bedroom villa offers even more room for larger vacation groups, and can sleep up to 9 guests across a sumptuous 1,125 square foot space. In addition to the regular amenities, the 2-bedroom villa includes a laundry area and full kitchen.
Grand Villa
Finally, there’s the Grand Villa, which can house up to 12 guests across 2,174 square feet – it’s truly a home away from home! The Grand Villa includes a master bedroom with king size bed, as well as two additional bedrooms and a queen-size sleeper sofa and chair in the living room. 3 bathrooms (one with a whirlpool tub,) a full kitchen and a dining room are additional amenities you can expect.
Like the regular resort rooms and suites, the Disney Vacation Club Villas incorporate special details that make this resort something truly special. The carved wooden armoire, for example, features a detailed fish pattern which depicts many of the fish native to the Hawaiian Islands. Kapa artwork can be seen adorning the duvet covers on each bed, and the dining area light fixtures are actually inspired by Hawaiian calabash bowls.
Due to the way the resort was designed, most rooms will have ocean views. However, other views can include poolside garden views, standard views, or an island garden view.
For larger groups, a Disney Vacation Club Villa would fit perfectly ,especially for guests who plan to stay awhile. Those who are not members of the Disney Vacation Club can still enjoy the sumptuous luxury and clever details found in the regular resort rooms and suites. Either way, once Disney’s Aulani Resort opens its doors to the public, you can be sure the accommodations will help create the idea of a true home away from home.
My family is interested in staying here next summer. What can you tell me about the excursions that you will offer and the cost of the room as well as the excursions.
We are in the process of posting that information. As soon as we have those pages and information finalized, we will be sure to pass them onto you. Thanks so much for reading! – Admin
